Due to the lockdown, many players are finding it difficult to find ways to spend time. With all sporting events cancelled, the players are confined to their homes. However, they are getting to spend time with their families which otherwise they wouldn’t.

Former Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar though seems to be having some fun at home as he was seen trimming his own hair. Tendulkar uploaded a post on his official Instagram handle. In the post, he had mentioned that he likes doing new things including cutting his own hair. He further asked two hairstylists– Aalim Hakim and Nandan V Naik how his hair was looking after Tendulkar gave himself a haircut during the lockdown.

In the caption of the post, he had written,” From playing square cuts to doing my own hair cuts, have always enjoyed doing different things. ‪How’s my new hairdo looking @aalimhakim & @nandan_v_naik? ”

Danny Wyatt asks Arjun Tendulkar to help his father with trimming

After seeing this post, England woman’s cricketer Danielle Wyatt posted a comment in which she tagged Sachin’s son, Arjun Tendulkar. She asked Arjun why doesn’t he cut his father hair. “Why didn’t you cut it for him,” she asked via comments on Sachin’s post. Arjun and Wyatt have been spotted several times in London. A few days ago, Indian skipper Virat Kohli also trimmed his hair and it was done by his wife Anushka Sharma.

Sachin Tendulkar has been one of the few players who have heavily donated to the relief funds of the COVID-19 crisis. The former Indian batsman had donated 25 Lakhs INR to PM-CARES fund (The Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund). He also donated the same amount of money to the Maharashtra Cheif Minister’s relief fund.

Other than this, Tendulkar had also provided rations for 5000 people for a month. He did this in association with a popular NGO, Apnalaya. The NGO uploaded a tweet from their official Twitter handle to show gratitude to the batsman.

The tweet read, “Thank you, @sachin_rt for stepping in & helping Apnalaya help the ones suffering the most during this lockdown. He will be taking care of the ration of around 5000 people for a month. There are many more individuals who need your support, people! Donate below!”
