The Pakistan team already won the 3-match T20I series against West Indies. They defeated the visitors in the 2nd T20I on Monday to take the lead up to 2-0. Pakistan team will hope to carry their good form against the depleted West Indies side and clean sweep the series. They will be taking on the West Indies in the 3rd T20I this evening.

In the second T20I, Pakistan yet again won the game comfortably by 82 runs. The No.1 T20I side, Pakistan opted to bat first after winning the toss. They piled on 205 runs in the first innings as Babar Azam shined with 97 runs from just 57 balls. They also scored above 200 in the first game.

As it has been the case for quite a while now, West Indies didn’t quite have the firepower to chase the target down. They yet again succumbed to pressure and were bowled out for just 123 runs. Chadwick Walton top scored in their innings with a brisk 40 off 29 balls.

All clear for the 3rd T20I

The weather forecast for the 3rd T20I is quite pleasing. There isn’t any chance of rain and there would be no interruption to the game. According to accuweather.com, there is abundant sunshine in Karachi today. While the maximum temperature goes up to 34C, the minimum temperature is 24C.

The weather is expected to cool down as the game begins. Furthermore, there are clear skies throughout the passage of play. Also, the humidity is on the lower side, unlike yesterday. It increases as the game progresses and the dew factor might come into play during the second innings. Hence, the team that wins the toss will want to bat first and put a total on the board.

There will also be some pleasant wind blowing but this will not affect the dynamics of the game much. This should again be a high-scoring encounter and the Windies will hope to put a good show with the bat.

Overall Verdict: Clear skies with pleasant winds.
