World Cup 2019: Kamaal R Khan predicts the winner; says it’s not India

The ICC World Cup 2019 has come to its fag end and we have the four semi-finalists in front of us. India, Australia, England, and New Zealand made it into the top four and will now play each other for the chance to enter the Lord’s Cricket Ground on July 14, Sunday, and try and lift the trophy in the final. The result of the last league match of the tournament between Australia and South Africa determined the semi-final match-ups.

Defending champions Australia lost their top position in the points table after South Africa handed them a 10-run defeat at Manchester, they will have to move to Birmingham in order to play England in the second knockout match on July 11. India, meanwhile, defeated Sri Lanka in its last game and will play New Zealand in Manchester in the first of the knockout matches on July 9, Tuesday.

Kamaal R Khan says India will lose to England in finals

Bollywood actor and movie reviewer Kamaal R Khan is known for his controversial views and this World Cup, he has been making some bold predictions. This began when the Indian squad for the tournament was announced and he mentioned that the team won’t be able to make it to the semis, as MS Dhoni was not captain, while Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja were picked in the team, something he didn’t like for reasons best known to him.

Now the actor has gone a step further and made a bold prediction about the upcoming knockout matches. He mentioned that England will beat Australia in their semi-final in Edgbaston, while New Zealand will lose to India in their match at Old Trafford. However, his third prediction is what is getting people riled up. He said that England will defeat India in the final at Lord’s ground and lift the World Cup 2019.

He tweeted, “My next predictions about #ICCWorldCup2019! 1) India will defeat New Zealand in semifinal. 2) England will defeat Australia in semifinal. 3) England will defeat India in final and win the World Cup 2019!”

India and New Zealand only faced one another in the warmup match before the main draw of World Cup began, as their league stage match was washed out due to rain. Team India is coming into this semi-final winning all but one match; while the Kiwis lost three straight matches on their way to knockouts and only made it by edging out Pakistan with a better net run rate.
