World Cup 2019, Match 45: Australia vs South Africa – Fantain Fantasy Cricket Tips

As expected, Pakistan beat Bangladesh but failed to qualify for the semi-finals. It was honestly an impossible target to achieve. But it was a good try by both Pakistan and Bangladesh. Two very good teams who have just not managed to make it to the big league recently. But the fact of the matter is that both teams have the potential. Here is all you need to read for both the teams before picking your Fantain XI.

Team News:

Australia

Leading the table with 14 points, Australia was slow and steady to reach the top. New Zealand, on the other hand, rushed to the top and somewhere lost the mojo to end up fourth on the table. Three losses towards the end was never a good sign.

Australia lost just that one match to India. They won every other match. Stellar performances by Warner and Finch, supported by Starc and Cummins at the other end. They are the defending champions and have shown why.

Could it be an India – Australia Finale? Too early to tell in the game, but hold that thought.

A little harsh, but not completely exaggerated. The highest score made by a South African batsman in this tournament is half the highest individual score of  World Cup 2019. That says a lot by itself.

South Africa do not have the horse power today to defeat the Australians but there are a few potential players such as Amla and du Plessis who can make a difference.
