Archer is already a household name due to his exploits across the globe in T20 leagues and his recent performance for England during their triumphant World Cup campaign.

A late addition to England’s World Cup squad, Archer totally justified the decision. He finished the tournament as England’s leading wicket-taker as England won their first-ever World Cup. Archer in line for Ashes

Jofra Archer, meanwhile, looks set to make his Test debut in the coming days. The Barbados-born allrounder is in contention to play the second Ashes Test. England faces Australia in a crucial game after losing the first one at Edgbaston. With James Anderson out of the second Test and Mark Wood injured too, Jofra Archer looks set to find a place in the playing eleven.

Archer also enhanced his reputation with a stunning display for Sussex. The lanky pacer picked six for 27 and then followed it up with 108 balls from 99 balls against Gloucestershire.
