Younis Khan comes up with a sweet gesture for his young fan from New Zealand

Former Pakistani skipper Younis Khan is one of the greatest cricketers to have taken the field for the Pakistani side. The legendary cricketer retired from all forms of the game after scoring over 10000 runs in the longest format of the game. Younis has a huge fan base and that spreads across the cricketing fraternity. Recently, he came up with a very sweet gesture for one of his young fans.

About a couple of years ago, a young fan named Felix Anderson had written to Younis Khan appreciating the strokeplay of the cricketer. Felix, who was about 10 years of age when he had written the letter, had appreciated the cover drives that Younis plays. Also, he had a special word of appreciation for the masterly triple ton that the cricketer had scored against Sri Lanka.

Felix had also drawn a picture of Younis in his letter and the ones who saw the letter were overawed by the innocence and cuteness of the letter. Younis, however, came across this particular letter addressed to him only in April this year. Felix, by now, would be about 12 years of age. He had requested Younis to teach him some cricketing shots. Younis thanked his young fan with a tweet recently.

Here is how Younis thanked the young fan for the letter

“Dear Felix, thank you for this sweet letter. I know this is almost two years old, but it only came across me now. I will surely make a small video to give you some tips as you requested,” Younis had thanked the young fan.

A couple of weeks after writing the thank you note for young Felix, Younis has now come up with a video as promised. In his tutorial video, he showed how to effectively play the cut shot and the cover drive.
