The hype around Rohit Sharma’s record-breaking innings against Sri Lanka has still not died down. In the second T20 at the Holkar stadium in Indore, Rohit Sharma hit the joint fastest century in international cricket in 35 deliveries and joined David Miller. Among those who have publicly showered praise on the skipper is Yuvraj Singh who took to Twitter to compliment Rohit’s blistering knock. Rohit Sharma scored 118 runs which is now the highest score by an Indian batsman in T20 Internationals.

The Indian team hit 21 sixes out of which, Rohit hit ten sixes on course to his 118 against Sri Lanka. His time while leading the Indian side will be one to remember for him because it has also brought out the best in him as a batsman. Just a few days ago, Rohit scored his third double century in One Day International in the second ODI against the same opposition in Mohali.
