The out of favour Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh is enjoying the free time away from cricket after plying his trade in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL). He endured a poor season while playing for the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and was also dropped after few matches. His love for the game of cricket is well known to everyone but he also likes Football and is upbeat about the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia. However, he has also predicted the winner of the tournament and feels the Brazilian player will win the Golden Boot award.

Yuvi is regarded as one of the best players India has ever produced. He has played crucial roles in World Cup victories of the country in 2007 World T20 and 2011. But he is far from his best these days and poor fitness is another reason that he is not making it to the national side. Many believe he should hang his boots but the cricketer is fighting his way through and is hoping to make a comeback.

Who will win the World Cup?

The much-awaited FIFA World Cup commenced on June 14 with Russia beating Saudi Arabia by 5-0 and the fever of the mega event has spread across the World. Yuvraj Singh has predicted that France will lift the title this time around and the star Football player from Brazil Jr Neymar will be the winner of the Golden Boot award according to him. He posted the video of his prediction on Instagram and revealed that Football is his second most favourite sport.

“As you know cricket is my first love but football would be second. The Football World Cup has just started. I think France is going to win the World Cup and Neymar Jr. is going to win the Golden Boot, he said in the video. It will be interesting to see if the prediction of the star Indian player comes true or any other country will come out on top.
