The world of showbiz and cricket continues to have its age old love affair, as once again there is news in the air about an Indian cricketer planning to marry an actress. The rumour of Indian leggie Yuzvendra Chahal dating south Indian actress Tanishka Kapoor have been doing the rounds for a while now. According to reports, they might soon be tying the knot as well.
Chahal at the moment is busy playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 11, but the news is that the couple might get married soon after the conclusion of the tournament. Following which, he will fly abroad with the national team for the England tour.
The couple has been spotted together in public by fans and the media on quite a few occasions. Their camaraderie is evident on the social media as well. The fans agree in unison that the two make a great couple, as Tanishka is quite popular down south and Chahal is already a star bowler of the Indian team.
Once they get married Chahal and Tanishka will join the club of cricket-film industry alliance, which is now getting quite crowded. The Nawab Pataudi-Sharmila Tagore wedding was among the very first and prominent ones. In recent times, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh and the skipper Virat Kohli himself got married to actors Hazel Keech, Sagarika Ghatge, Geeta Basra and Anushka Sharma respectively.
Yuzvendra Chahal recently became the all-time highest wicket taker for the Royal Challengers Bangalore with 73 wickets in 58 matches with an average of 22.24 and economy rate of 7.90.

The previous holder of the record was Vinay Kumar. Chahal tied scores with Kumar when he dismissed D’Arcy Short in the 7th over of the match against the Rajasthan Royals. With the wicket of Ben Stokes in the 13th over, he finally overtook him to reach the milestone.
At present RCB occupies the fifth spot on the points table, with only a couple of wins. Their next match is up against Chennai Super Kings on Wednesday, April 25.
