Having made his Test debut at Perth in 2014, Rahul finally made his debut in the ODI circuit against Zimbabwe at Harare in the first ODI. He smashed a massive 196 runs in the three-match series. He also remained unbeaten on 100 in the first ODI, a performance that saw him win the man-of-the-series award. Having impressed in the recently concluded IPL with the bat, all eyes will be on the 24-year old as he sets off on his T20 career as well.

‘Popeye’s’ first tour to Zimbabwe in the India jersey saw him become a cult hero for the Indians. Similar to his RCB teammate KL Rahul, Chahal starred with the ball in the ODIs for the Indians. 23-year old Barinder Sran has now blossomed into a fine left-arm seamer for India in ODIs. Although he didn’t pick up as many wickets as he would have liked, Sran proved to be the perfect foil for strike bowlers Dhawal Kulkarni and Jasprit Bumrah.
