AB de Villiers, the legend of the game after he announced his retirement from all forms of cricket, the fans are in heavy distress and it is indeed disappointing when fans think about not seeing this player again in this wonderful game. He being retired from International cricket in 2018, continued to play the other T20 Leagues all over the World.

But now through his Twitter handle, he has officially informed about his retirement from this sport thoroughly. He is the player who entertained the fans with his innovative 360-degree shots and through his spirit of the game, he has always enthralled everyone’s heart including the opposition’s. This 37-year-old-player debuted in the inaugural edition of the IPL in 2008 for Delhi Daredevils.

Mr.360 was then bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2011 and has been a consistent star player for the team over the years. AB de Villiers marked his capabilities in the IPL through this innings. It was in 2009 when he was featuring for the Delhi Daredevils and in a match against Chennai Super Kings, he hit his maiden century in the tournament.

Delhi Daredevils batted first and after an early exit of the openers Gambhir and Sehwag, De Villiers came to bat at number three and started the inning slowly with his first fifty coming off 35 deliveries and after which he just accelerated unbelievably and reached his next fifty runs just in 16 balls.

He along with Dilshan aided the team to the score of 189 with him finishing with a score of 105* and RCB eventually won that match. It was the first century of that edition and he proved his worth in the sub-continent after this innings.
