There might be no better leg-spinner than Shane Warne. Despite all the controversies he had during his career, you can take nothing away from the talent that he possessed. The Victoria bowler was an absolute magician and redefined spin bowling like never before. He generated a tremendous amount of spin off the pitch, was great with his control as well as accuracy. His batting and fielding attribute further added up making him an absolute legend of the game.

(i) Before every ball that he bowled, Shane Warne used to toss the ball up in the air and gave it some revolutions. By throwing the ball from one hand to another, the leg-spinner tried to get the feel of it and is one of his idiosyncrasies. Even as he got into his bowling run-up, Warne used to repeat the same thing.
