Another Gujarat man who has been moving up in his journey with flying colors is all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. After playing first-class matches for Saurashtra and being part of the U19 WC winning squad in 2008, he broke into IPL in the inaugural season only with Rajasthan Royals. He remained part of various teams but now is an integral part of the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings.

Since 2012, the all-rounder and an exceptional fielder, has been of great use for the Yellow Army. His match-winning knocks and some big hits have finished things for CSK many times in style. Playing 170 IPL games, he has 1927 runs and 108 dismissals to his credit with 16/5 as best bowling figures in the year 2012.

Soon after his amazing run in IPL, he got a national call and was selected for an ODI series against Sri Lanka in 2009, where he played an unbeaten knock of 60. Having been part of 165 ODIs, 49 Test and 49 ODIs, he has 2296, 1869, and 173 runs to his credit respectively. He has in total 213, 187, and 39 scalps to his name in Tests, ODIs, and T20Is respectively. Sir Jadeja now owns a fixed place in playing XI of Men in Blue.
