The current England ODI skipper is a revolutionary, as he changed the outlook of the three lions team in white ball cricket. He is one of the rare middle-order batsmen who can start hitting the ball out of the park from the word go. Morgan has also served the role of a finisher and in various run chases, he has dragged the team to victory single-handedly. He has a calming influence on the team which has worked wonders in pressure situations.

Eoin Morgan was made for slam-bang cricket, as he has the ability to play innovative shots. The southpaw was picked up in the 2010 auction, but never got going in the tournament as he batted lower down the order. In the following seasons, he was given more prominent roles by the different franchises, but he always looked flat with his attacking skills. In his 6-year IPL career, Morgan plied his trade for 4 teams and he scored only 4 half-centuries which tell a story.
