The skilled Kiwi left-arm spinner has had a lot of success in international cricket for his country, but sadly for him, he couldn’t quite replicate his international performances in the IPL. Vettori, after playing a few seasons of the IPL with Delhi Daredevils, now Delhi Capitals, moved to Royal Challengers Bangalore. He captained RCB for three seasons before taking up the role of head coach in 2014.

The Auckland-born elegant left-hander took RCB to the final of two IPL seasons, one as a captain in 2011 and the other as a coach in 2016, but they ended up losing on both instances. After RCB failed to qualify for the playoffs last season, RCB sacked the veteran from his coaching role.
