He has featured in every single edition of the IPL and has carved a niche for himself with the ball in hand. Amit Mishra is a man who has bamboozled several batsmen with his wily leg-spin. Mishra is one of the most successful bowlers in IPL cricket, having scalped 157 wickets at an average of 19.75. Mishra also has 3 hat tricks to his name in IPL cricket.

The leg spinner started out his IPL career with Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals), then moved to Deccan Chargers, and is now back again with the Delhi franchise. Mishra will turn 38 in November this year and is the oldest member of the Delhi Capitals’ squad.

Also, with the Delhi outfit filled with quality spinners, consisting of the crafty Ravichandran Ashwin, young sensation Sandeep Lamichhane and left-arm spinner Axar Patel in their ranks, Mishra’s days with the Delhi franchise are well and truly numbered. He would look to sign off with a flourish in the 13th edition of the league.
