Just as we mentioned earlier, Afghanistan had come into the 2016 T20 World Cup as minnows. No one had high expectations from them. But, they managed to do something no other team could do it. They defeated the eventual champions.

Batting first, Afghanistan went on to score 123/7 in 20 overs. With Najibullah Zadran scoring 48 from 40 balls they had put on a mediocre target. From the Windies side, Samuel Badree picked 3 wickets from 14 balls.

During the run chase, the Windies had a tough time. They only managed to score 117 from 20 overs. With stellar efforts from Nabi, Rashid, and Amir, they managed to restrict a strong Windies side for 117. This was one of the biggest moments in the World Cup.
