There’s no doubt that Yuvraj Singh is one of the biggest match-winners India has ever produced in white-ball cricket. However, he hasn’t been able to replicate his international success in the IPL. He has a rather underwhelming IPL record.

However, Yuvraj has always been one of the biggest attractions in the IPL. In 2014, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) went bonkers over him and finally, grabbed him for a whopping amount of INR 14 crores. The Punjab left-hander had a good season as he amassed 376 runs at an average of 34.18 and a strike-rate of 135.25.

But they released Yuvraj ahead of the next season to have a bigger purse in the auction. However, what was even more surprising they went bonkers once again after him. In fact, they were in a tight tussle with Delhi Daredevils. RCB held the bid till INR 15.5 crores before Delhi eventually bought him for INR 16 crores.
