Preview for Dream11 Fantasy

Afghanistan are set to play their first ODI series since the World Cup. They couldn’t win a single game at the mega event and under Rashid Khan’s captaincy, would be keen to start on a winning note. Afghanistan is also enjoying the winning run in the other two formats. They famously defeated Bangladesh in their own den in the only Test and then went on qualify for the final of the T20I tri-series on the tour also involving Zimbabwe.

West Indies, on the other hand, hosted India soon after the World Cup and failed to win a single game across formats. Kieron Pollard has been named the captain in the limited-overs format since then. He will take over from Jason Holder who is also in the side. West Indies have included a couple of top performers from the CPL 2019 and will be hoping that the team does well on this tour.

Weather Report

The sun will be out in Lucknow when the game starts on Wednesday. The atmosphere will get cool down in the evening as the temperature is expected to come down from 28 to 24 according to AccuWeather. No rain is in the forecast.

Pitch Report

This will be the first ODI to be played at this venue. Only India and West Indies played here before in a T20 International. The surface should be a decent one for batting with dew expected to play its part in the evening as well. Expect the team winning the toss to bowl first.

Expert Advice

Pollard more often than not does well when he is leading the team. You can make him captain in one of the grand leagues. Shai Hope has been picked in only 53% of teams as of now. He is also a good multiplier option. But for him to be picked, the credits should be adjusted.

Roston Chase is part of West Indies ODI squad. But he is not listed in Dream11 Fantasy. If his name is added later, he is also a good option to have in the team.

Probable Winners:

Afghanistan are expected to win the match.
