India would be up against Australia for the third Test in Sydney on January 7, and Indian cricketers would be up in their best form to continue their winning streak. Ahead of the upcoming Test, Rishabh Pant was seen displaying pro-level fitness as he shared a video where he was seen acing multiple handsprings. After Pant’s fitness came under the scanner, he levelled up his fitness and is often seen indulging in strenuous gym sessions.

His latest video has grabbed much limelight, and England’s women cricketer Alex Hartley is impressed big time. She praised Pant’s antics and added that she would love Indian skipper Virat Kohli to imitate this. It is a well-known fact that Kohli has set the benchmark for fitness way too high, and players look up to him in this field as well. Hartley retweeted Pant’s video with a caption-

“When the captains away, the boys will play… I want to see @imVkohli do this.”

Hartley praises Rishabh Pant’s efforts

Fans have often seen Kohli putting videos of extensive gym sessions and workouts. He has been seen doing flying push-ups, power snatch, etc, but handsprings have never been on his list. Therefore, Hartley expressed her desire to see Kohli doing this. Talking about Pant, he got the chance to appear in whites for India during the last Test, where couldn’t get anything big in his bag.

Talking about the next Test, it will be a thing to see how Pant performs in the next Test and cements his place further. Hitman Rohit Sharma is the most awaited addition in India’s line up that would be up against Australia in Sydney and he would take the charge of Ajinkya Rahane’s deputy. With prime pacers out of the series, India would have to pull their socks up to outclass the hosts. Navdeep Saini has been named as a replacement for injured Umesh Yadav.

India is already without the service of their skipper Virat Kohli, who is in India to be with his wife Anushka Sharma for the birth of his first child.
