Anushka Sharma posts adorable video of cutie Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli got everything he had asked for on Tuesday. Team India had to win the second ODI since it was a do-or-die game in the context of the series and Kohli led them from the front and guided the team to a stunning series-levelling win. The India skipper slammed 104 off 112 as India beat Australia by six wickets to keep the three-match series alive.

He came out to bat when India lost Shikhar Dhawan with the scoreboard reading 47. From the very start, Kohli looked in his elements and never allowed the hosts to make further inroads. By the time, he flicked a Jhye Richardson’s delivery straight to the fielder, he had already put the team in the driver’s seat. MS Dhoni and Dinesh Karthik then did the rest sharing an unbeaten partnership of 57 runs.

Kohli deservedly won the Man of the Match award for his ton. The day then got even better as the delighted India skipper spent some quality time with his wife Anushka Sharma. And as if Kohli’s exploits were not enough on the field for the fans, Anushka gave them another reason to like the India star.

The Bollywood actress took to Instagram and posted an adorable video of her hubby. She used a Puppy filter on his face and made him smile as a clueless Kohli could do nothing but say ‘hi’

The century was Kohli’s 39th in ODIs and it helped him achieve a few more milestones. He is now the 11th highest run-getter in the ODIs. It was also his sixth ODI hundred against Australia. Only Sachin Tendulkar (9) and Rohit Sharma (7) have scored more ODI centuries against the reigning 50-overs World Champions. Kohli also became the first Indian captain to score an ODI ton on Australian soil.

With almost everything going his way, Kohli will be looking to guide India to another series-win when his side takes on Australia in the ODI-series decider on January 18.
