1. Suresh Raina

For a long time, Suresh Raina had been the mainstay of the Indian middle-order, however, a string of inconsistent performances paved the way for other players. Nevertheless, in the IPL circuit, the limited-overs specialist has been one of the consistent performers and is the highest run-getter in the entire tournament with nearly 5000 runs.
The left-hander has been the backbone of the Chennai-based franchise and his alliance with MS Dhoni has been instrumental in the Super Kings’ glorious history, having won three titles. With the Indian team well-settled, having all their bases covered, Raina can be available for selection in the Big Bash League.
Having more than enough experience to play down under, the 32-year old can tear apart any bowling attack on his day and can be the perfect choice to bat at No. 3 for any franchise.
