Mitchell Swepson was supped to form a lethal spin partnership with new signing Mujeeb Ur Rahman, but as it turned out, his form wasn’t very great. He found it difficult to hit the right areas and didn’t help his captain an awful lot by conceding too many runs at crucial junctures.

In 12 games for the Heat, Swepson took 9 wickets at an economy rate of 8.52 and a bowling average of 35.33. Despite a miraculous win in their final group game, Heat fell short of a place in the semifinals and settled for the 5th spot.
