“Don’t blush baby”- the three words which copped Chris Gayle a $10000 fine and massive criticisms from fans after his sideline interview with Mel McLaughlin in Big Bash- and it is just the tip of the iceberg. The Universe Boss’ is probably the most controversial cricketer of the decade. Known for his ball thrashing prowess, Gayle’s comments in his interviews haven’t gone down well with the admirers of the game and feminists as well!

He asked a female British journalist Charlotte Edwards if she ever had a threesome, and was quoted saying “I have a very, very big bat, the biggest in the world!!” He has also claimed his machismo by saying women threw themselves at him as he was “damn good-looking”. Also, his comment – “Woman should please their man” received a lot of flak from the fans.

The Sri Lankan police once broke into Gayle’s party and detained three British nationality girls for unauthorized entry. Not to forget, his dance with Indian actress Sherlyn Chopra where he stripped his t-shirt off was all over the internet. Chris Gayle is surely a party animal, but he has taken his euphoric character over the top plenty of times.
