Indian skipper Virat Kohli will lead the All Heart FC against All Stars FC in the Celebrity Clasico friendly football match at the Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai on October 15. Last year too, Virat Kohli’s Foundation collaborated with actor Abhishek Bachchan’s ‘Playing for Humanity’ to stage a charity match which will also feature the likes of former captain MS Dhoni and the rest of the team. Ranbir Kapoor will also take the field among other starry presence. The last time around there was not a clear winner as both the sides ended up at 2-2.

Th news was confirmed after Star Sports tweeted a video clip on their official site“You have seen @ImVKohli ruling the cricket field, now get set to watch him lead All Heart FC against All Stars FC in the Celebrity Clasico!” Last year’s event was a massive hit as many people tuned in to their television set while people around the city thronged the stadium in huge numbers.

In the year 2016, Mayank Dagar (goalkeeper), Manoj Tiwary, MS Dhoni, Manish Pandey, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Ashok Dinda, Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan, Umesh Yadav, R Ashwin played for Kohli’s team while their opposition had Jignesh Antala (goalie), Aditya Kapoor, Shabir Ahluwalia, Ranbir Kapoor, Dino Morea, Shoojit Sircar, Kartik Aryan, Sachin Joshi, Arjun Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan and Raj Kundra.

Hyderabad set for a thriller

Kohli and his men are currently participating in the ongoing T20I series against Australia. David Warner and his boys sealed the Guwahati T20I match with a prolific performance. They won the match by eight wickets and ensured the final turns out to be a thriller. Warner’s record has captain stays impressive. He has lost just 1 game out of the 7 that he led so far. Pacer Jason Behrendorff was instrumental in the last match with four vital wickets and he will be the key man once again when the two sides face-off in the finals.
