Chattogram Challengers (CCH) and Rangpur Riders (RAN) face off in match no.21 of the ongoing ninth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2023 on Monday, January 23, 2023, at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka. Both teams will meet again in match no.40 on Wednesday, February 08 at the very same venue.
Speaking about the form of both sides, the Challengers are having a bad season as they have played six matches and won just two and lost four. Their only victories came against the Khulna Tigers and Dhaka Dominators by nine and eight wickets respectively. On the other hand, the Riders are having almost a similar season to that of their opposition. They have played five games so far and won two and lost three. Left-handed batter Soumya Sarkar has scored the most runs (164) in these fixtures. He is followed by experienced campaigners Tamim Iqbal (160) and Mohammad Shahzad (157).
