Glenn Phillips has been there with the Jamaica Tallawahs for the last three seasons. Albeit he couldn’t shine in his maiden outing for the team, in the last two seasons, he has carved a reputation as one of the Tallawahs’ most reliable and consistent batters at the top. After becoming their leading run-getter last season in 2018, the New Zealander performed exceptionally for them even in 2019.

Scoring 374 runs in 10 matches at an average of 37.40, he was in rhythm. But unlike the last time, he didn’t get much support from his fellow batsmen owing to which Jamaica finished with only two wins in the league stage. Barring the first two games, he got runs in every other match. His top score of 87 came versus the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots at the Sabina Park and it was in a losing cause.
