5 players who might attract massive bids in the auction based on T20 WC 2022 performance:

5. Taskin Ahmed

Taskin Ahmed has been an integral part of Bangladesh’s white-ball set-up. He has made the ball talk at the start of the innings and provided early breakthroughs to his side.  The 27-year-old has featured in 52 ODIs and picked up 69 wickets at an economy of 5.64. When it comes to the T20Is, the ace pacer has bagged 36 wickets in 46 T20Is at an economy of 7.79.

Taskin was simply stunning at the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2022. He was the wrecker-in-chief for the Bangla Tigers and took eight wickets in five matches at an economy of 7.27, which includes a sensational four-wicket haul in the encounter against the Netherlands.

When Bangladesh took the stage alongside Zimbabwe in the 28th match of the tournament, the right-arm pacer proved to be too hot to handle and ended the game with stellar figures of 4-1-19-3.

Taskin has been a tone-setter with the new ball and can also act as an enforcer in the middle phases of the innings. Therefore, the Bangladesh pacer is a valuable addition to any side and many franchises could be eager to pick him at the forthcoming auction.
