<p>This was their maiden win against the Men in Green in ODI cricket. In Afghanistan’s scintillating victory, their bowlers made a vital contribution. On Chennai’s turning track, Afghan spinners didn’t allow Pakistan batters to score runs at a rapid pace. Noor Ahmed, who was playing his debut World Cup game, bagged three wickets in the match and ended up as the leading wicket-taker in the game &nbsp;</p>
<p>Naveen-ul-Haq splurged 52 runs in his seven-over spell but claimed the important scalps of Iftikhar Ahmed and Shadab Khan.
