4. Glenn Phillips

Glenn Phillips looked exceptional for New Zealand in the ODI series against the Men in Green in Pakistan. The right-handed batter chipped in with 103 runs in three games at a strike rate of 100.00. In the last match at National Stadium in Karachi, he played the role of a finisher by notching up 63 runs off 42 deliveries.

With his magnificent knock, New Zealand won the thriller with two wickets in hand and also sealed the series by 2-1. In the same vein, the Black Caps will expect him to showcase his batting talent in India as well. On the other side, India will be wary of him as the swashbuckling batter could come heavily on their bowlers.

In the important ODI series, Phillips’s role will be vital for New Zealand to get hold of the hosts. Last year, in the home series against India, he didn't get a chance to face Indian bowlers in the ODIs. In the forthcoming bilateral series, the same may not happen and the team might need his match-finishing skills more than ever before.
