3. Yuzvendra Chahal

Yuzvendra Chahal failed to deliver his best in the home series against Sri Lanka. After having a dismal T20I competition against Sri Lanka, Chahal was expected to deliver solid bowling figures to the team in the three-match ODI series. However, that didn’t happen as the 32-year-old failed to show up in the competition.

Playing against Sri Lanka in the opening ODI game at Guwahati, he bowled an expensive spell of 10 overs, in which he splurged 58 runs and took only one wicket. Witnessing his flop show, the team management replaced him with Kuldeep Yadav in the second ODI at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

In the forthcoming ODIs against the Kiwis, the ace leggie will look to gain confidence using his superb bowling skills and vast experience. In his seven years of ODI career, Chahal has hunted 119 batters in 71 matches at an economy of 5.26.
