2. Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep Yadav showcased his bowling brilliance against Sri Lanka in the second ODI at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. In his spectacular spell of 10 overs, he gave 51 runs and trapped three batters. He scalped three important wickets (Kusal Mendis, Charith Asalanka, and Dasun Shanaka) of the opponents to help his team to be in a commanding position.

With his fine bowling effort, India wrapped up Sri Lanka's innings on 215 in 39.4 overs. In recent games, Yadav took advantage of the opportunities he got. Last year, he was marvellous with the ball in the ODI series against South Africa played at home in October. With six wickets in three matches, he was the highest wicket-taker for India.

In the three ODIs against New Zealand, Yadav will look to continue his wonderful bowling form. The 28-year-old will also be a key bowler for India as they will bank on him to bolster their spin attack. His overall bowling record in ODIs will also give confidence to the team as he has claimed 122 wickets in 74 ODIs at an economy of 5.19.
