3. Nicholas Pooran (INR 10.75 CR)

Nicholas Pooran is a ferocious striker of the cricket ball and is renowned to hit humungous sixes. Sunrisers Hyderabad roped in the wicketkeeper batter at the 2022 mega auction to add fire-power to the batting lineup. He set the tournament on fire with his astonishing knocks and amassed 306 runs in 14 games at a strike rate of 144.34.

However, the West Indies skipper has been a pale shadow of his vintage self of late. In Caribbean Premier League 2022, Pooran managed to score just 108 runs in 10 games at a strike rate of 117.39. His horror show with the bat continued in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022 as he scored mere 25 runs in three games at a strike rate of 86.20.

While the Trinidad-born has been amid a lean patch, Glenn Phillips has been in a form of his life. In the T20 extravaganza in Australia, he has played some breathtaking knocks for the Blackcaps smashing 195 runs in four games played thus far, and that too at a stunning strike rate of 163.86.

With Phillips at the peak of his powers, SRH might look to release Pooran for which they spend 10.75 CR. This eye-popping sum could be used to fill up the gaps in the squad.
