Royal Challengers Bangalore had a decent campaign in IPL 2022 and finished third in the marquee T20 tournament.

2. Karn Sharma
Karn Sharma made his IPL debut in 2009 which saw him play just a lone game for Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, his IPL career took off only in 2013 when he took 11 wickets in 13 games for Sunrisers Hyderabad. The leg-spinner has been a constant figure in the lucrative T20 tournament since then.
The 34-year-old is an IPL veteran and has taken 59 wickets in the 68 matches played. He is also more than handy with the bat. RCB picked the bowling all-rounder to add experience to their spin attack. However, Karn did not find a place in the playing XI throughout the tournament.
RCB have leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga at their disposal who had a stellar IPL 2022 which saw him take 26 wickets in 16 games. Also, their Indian all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed being a left-arm off-spinner turns a ball in a similar direction to a leg-spinner. With these two being a regular feature in the XI, having Karn in the mix is more of a luxury than a need. Thus, it is likely the team management will part ways with the veteran player in near future.
