4. Michael Bracewell

Michael Bracewell has set the international stage on fire since he made his T20I debut earlier this year. The 31-year-old has featured in 13 games for New Zealand in the shortest format and taken 17 wickets at a stellar economy of 5.24. He has also smashed 90 runs at a sensational strike rate of 183.67.

New Zealand picked the ace all-rounder for the T20 World Cup 2022 to provide depth to the side. In the Tri-series against Pakistan and Bangladesh, Bracewell got five chances and he made the most of them picking eight wickets at an impeccable economy of 4.94.

Bracewell’s inclusion in the playing XI stretches the batting lineup to number eight and it would be a good choice to go with him. However, the team management did not go with the all-rounder in the inaugural match of the global event against Australia and selected Mitchell Santner and Ish Sodhi ahead of him.
