The Women’s Premier League is set for its first mega auction, with the event scheduled to take place on November 27 in Delhi. A total of 277 players, including 83 overseas names, will go under the hammer for 73 available slots, but the Right-to-Match (RTM) card is expected to be a major option for teams.

For the first time, franchises can use RTM to buy back players who were part of their 2025 squad. UP Warriorz, who retained only Shweta Sehrawat, hold the strongest hand with four RTM cards and a massive INR 14.50 crore purse. Gujarat Giants have three RTMs (Indian players only), while Royal Challengers Bengaluru have one card for an uncapped Indian. Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians, both of whom retained the maximum five players, will enter the auction without any RTM options.

Australian all-rounder Grace Harris is one player for the UP Warriorz to target with their RTM card at the mega-auction. The 32-year-old has been one of the strongest overseas players in the league. In 22 WPL matches, Harris has scored 581 runs at a strike rate of 140.33, including three fifties, and has consistently scored for the Warriorz.

Harris is also lethal with the ball, having picked up 13 wickets in the league, with a best of 4/15. Although she recently missed the ODI World Cup due to a calf strain, her.
