After winning the game by seven wickets, India levelled the series 1-1 with hosts South Africa at the Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town. This was India's first win at the venue ever since. As both the teams approached for posing with the trophy, India's Virat Kohli, known for his antics on the field, left everyone tickle their funny bones with his special "Bhangra" pose. Notably, Bhangra is a popular dance form, especially in the Indian state of Punjab and is done during celebratory events. And Kohli being a Punjabi himself, engaged in a funny pose to leave fans rolling.

So, that was it from the game between South Africa and India. The series ends with both sides winning one game apiece. Next up, India will go back home for a T20I series against Afghanistan followed by five-match Test series against England. Before speaking, Rohit Sharma shared a signed team jersey with Dean Elgar, as both posed along to share the momentous gesture. And right after speaking, both pose with the trophy for levelling the series 1-1.

Rohit Sharma: A great feet. In Centurion, we had to learn from the mistakes. We came back very well, especially our bowlers. Had some plans and the boys got rewarded. We applied ourselves, we batted well to get a 100-run lead, not pleasing to see the last six wickets. We knew that it's going to be a short game, we knew ever run matters, to get that lead was very important. (On Siraj) Very special, something you don;t get to see very often. We spoke about keeping things simple and that's what happened. The pitch did the rest. Lot of credit to Siraj, Bumrah, Mukesh and Prasidh. Whenever you come here, it's challenging. We have played a lot of good cricket outside India, we take a lot of pride. We would have loved to win the series. South Africa is a great team, they always challenges us, they are sch a good team. We can take a lot of pride from this performance. (On Elgar) Such an important player for SA, very gritty, we apprentice that. I'd like to wish him the best. Brilliant career, best wishes ahead.

642. That's not the runs scored in the game, but the total number of balls this match lasted. And just in case you're curious, yes, it is the shortest Test match in terms of balls bowled.

India win the match by seven wickets, and more than three days to spare. Shreyas Iyer hits the winnings runs with a boundary towards the long on region. Rohit Sharma hugs the opposition skipper Dean Elgar and congratulates him for an end to his fantastic career. He leads the team to the dressing, for one last time. All the team members join in. Indian players are also out for shaking hands and share their moment with Elgar.

The ball flicks Kohli's gloves on its way to the keeper. SA went for the DRS, and the ultra-edge enforced the correct decision to stand. India lose three, with four more to get.

Tony de Zorzi drops a ball that went way too high in the sky. The fielder at gully had a better chance, but remained unmoved. Finally, de Zorzi went for it, and ended up dropping it.

Shubman Gill is off, as Rabada dismantles his stumps. The ball stayed low, and Gill could not get his bat in the way. With 22 more runs needed to win, India lose their second wicket. And now, Virat Kohli has walked out to bat.

A simple punch straight down the ground off Shubman Gill's blade brings up the fifty for India. They need just 27 more runs to win. Can they finish this in the next two overs?

A brisk cameo from Yashasvi Jaiswal comes to an end. He attempted to play a big shot, but found Tristan Stubbs in the deep. Nandre Burger gives the first breakthrough to the Proteas. 28 runs off 23 balls is all what Jaiswal could manage, but India won't mind that, as they need just 35 more to seal the deal. India are 44/1.

At the end of three overs, Indian batters are going for whatever's coming their way. They don't want to let the hosts get into the game, given the nature of the pitch. 59 more runs needed to win the game for Sharma & Co.

Dean Elgar gets a guard of honour, as the South Africa legend walks out in the international arena for one last time. The cricketing fraternity will definitely remember his contributions to the game. Although he couldn't contribute much with the bat in his last Test, he would want his bowlers to put up a fighting display, as they defend a paltry target with over three and a half days still remaining in this game. Yashasvi Jaiswal hits a pull shot on the very first ball to hit a boundary, getting him and India off the mark.

We're back for the final innings, as India need 79 runs to win. As players make their way to the field, skipper Dean Elgar gets a guard of honour from the home players and the coaching staff. Rohit and Jaiswal are set to open for India, while Rabada will begin proceedings with the ball.

South Africa have been bundled out for 176 runs, which means India will need 79 runs to win. Jasprit Bumrah takes the last wicket, as Yashasvi Jaiswal takes another good catch at third slip. The ace pacer finishes with 6/61, and it has been a fantastic session so far for the Indians. That's also time for LUNCH.

As India are looking desperate for the last wicket, Siraj hit Nandre Burger's body on the last ball of the over. Rohit Sharma, at short leg, held the ball as it deviated off Burger's chest. There was a slight appeal, to which the umpire remained still.

Rohit even asked the bowler if they should go upstairs. To this, Virat Kohli came in and said, "Le Le Bhai, Kya Pata Inside-edge Laga Ho! (Let's take the review buddy, who knows there might have been an inside-edge)."

India eventually didn't go for the review, but the moment caught everyone's attention on the TV.

Another catch by Rohit Sharma sends Rabada back in the hut. Krishna has his first wicket.

Mohammed Siraj gets Markram to mistime the shot, as Rohit Sharma takes a simple catch at the end. Sharma, who was standing at long-off covered his ground well to get the hold of the ball. He literally throws the ball on the ground to vent out the frustration of Aiden Markram's showing. End of an incredible knock by Markram. Big breakthrough for India, and for Siraj as well. The visitors are on top of the game right now.

Markram has pulled off a miracle here. Elgar stands on his feet in the dressing room to applaud the batter. One of the best knocks under pressure. He counter-attacked the Indians when the entire batting unit was down and out. And on top of that, it has come at a strike rate better than run-a-ball. Really, really special knock. Rahul must be kicking himself right now.

Krishna concedes 20 runs in his first over, as Markram hits him for a couple of fours and sixes, each.

Another six in Prasidh Krishna's first over takes Markram to 90*.

South Africa take 30-run lead to move into the drinks break. India need 3 more wickets to bundle the hosts out and get ready for the chase, on the Day 2 itself. The game is pretty much settled for a finish today. Stay tuned, as Rabada and Markram are still there at the crease.

In a game where the bowlers have made the headlines, Markram raises his bat! Absolute sensational. 

Ravindra Jadeja was spotted hammering the pitch at Newlands in Cape Town. Notably, Mukesh Kumar complained regarding the landing area and following which, the umpires called for the hammer to flatten the surface.

Jasprit Bumrah starts with the ball on Day 2 as David Bedingham hits a boundary on the second ball of the day. They are going for it? Well.. well..

It was all carnage in Cape Town on Day 1 of the second Test between India and South Africa. On a day that saw 23 wickets fall, it was hard work and a proper test for the batters. Well, the other side of all the cricketing chaos saw Virat Kohli's hilarious facial expression to Mukesh Kumar's delivery grab the limelight as the former India skipper entertained the Newlands crowd. 

The Delhi-born batter was seen at his playful best during the day as he was even spotted playing a childish game with Shubman Gill late in the third session. Kohli's antics have gone viral all over social media with his videos getting massive traction.

We're just at the end of Day 1 in the second Test and a lot has happened in the game already. South Africa got bundled out for their lowest Test score since re-admission i.e 55 while India lost their last six wickets without scoring, an unwanted world record, and got all out for 153. South Africa have further lost three more wickets in the second innings with Dean Elgar getting out for last time in Tests. The hosts are trying to eat up the deficit as soon as possible and set a fighting target for India in the fourth innings. And that's 21 for the day. Mukesh Kumar draws Dean Elgar to poke one outside off straight to Virat Kohli. An incredible career comes to an end. A grinder throughout his career walks off witnessing his life's devotion receive its due. Virat Kohli also won hearts as he hugged Elgar on his way off. 

The Protea openers have slowly started to build a partnership, and are playing watchfully. They've scored 37 in first 10 overs.

Seeing a sudden batting collapse, as India went from being 153/4 to being bundled out on the same score, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul's wives were left shell shocked to see India lose six wickets in a matter of just 11 balls. Both Anushka Sharma (Virat's wife) and Athiya Shetty (Rahul's wife) had their mood go from high to extreme low.

IND take 98 runs lead in the first innings. 

Prasidh Krishna departs for a duck. India lose six wickets without adding a run, and in a matter of just 11 balls. Rabada has two in the over, followed after three in the previous over by Ngidi. India have a 98-run lead. And South Africa will come out to bat, for a second time in the day.

Mohd Siraj departs after a failed attempt to grab a run. India lose 5 wickets without scoring a run.

Kagiso Rabada strikes with probably the biggest wicket of the day. Virat Kohli departs for 46, as India lose 4 wickets in a matter of just eight balls.

Jasprit Bumrah also departs, getting caught in the slip cordon. Ngidi has changed the context of the game in a matter of just five balls.

Ravindra Jadeja departs for a duck, as Ngidi strikes twice in the over. Marco Jansen takes an excellent catch to send Jadeja back.

KL Rahul, the centurion from previous game, falls prey to Lungi Ngidi, as Kyle Verreynne takes a simple catch behind the stumps. India are five men down. Ravindra Jadeja comes out to replace the stumper-batter.

During the seventh over of the match, Kagiso Rabada was bowling, as Shubman Gill was still fresh at the crease. Rohit, who was there since the very first ball advised Gill to be watchful towards Rabada, considering him as the only bowler to be given respect.

As Rabada was reaching towards his run-up mark before the third ball, Rohit at non-striker's end said "Yeh Ek hi Bowler Hain" to Gill, which was caught by stump mic. Ironically though, both the batters were dismissed by Nandre Burger.

Virat Kohli takes Rabada to the cleaners with a brilliant pull shot to grab crucial six runs.

As the players were walking out of the field after the second session ended. Interestingly, Burger, who gave a stare to Kohli after his arrival at the crease, came towards the star batter and engaged in a fist pump, thereby indicating all the sledging remains only on the field and not off it.

The afternoon session comes to an end, as 24 overs go for 111 runs while India lost four wickets. Final session coming up after a short break.

An lbw appeal was affected in the 34th over, as South Africa thought they had caught Virat Kohli in front of his wickets. Umpire remained unmoved, as Elgar signalled for the DRS. Upon replay, the "hitting" showed 'Umpire's Call'. By virtue of this, Kohli survived a close call.

After Rohit Sharma's wicket, Nandre Burger was high on confidence. At 4, it was time for Virat Kohli to come to the crease. Facing his first ball, Kohli's solid front foot defend went back to the bowler. Burger attempted to hit the ball back at stumps, but realized that the batter was well within his crease. A moment later, the young pacer gave a stare to the ace batter, leading to a sledge. A few balls later, Kohli hit a couple of boundaries to the bowler to give the perfect reply.

Fielding in the slip cordon, Virat Kohli advised Mohammed Siraj to enforce Marco Jansen to play for the edge. Obeying to his senior, Siraj bowled a good length ball, which eventually travelled to the keeper's gloves after nicking off Jansen's blade.

Siraj completes his fifer, as Marco Jansen edges one to the keeper. All sorts of trouble for South Africa right now. The Miyaan Magic has surely taken over the Newlands.
