Indian top-order batter Sai Sudharsan shared his reaction to listening to Hindi songs on the team bus during the ongoing fifth and final Test against England. He revealed that he has even tried singing some of them.
In a conversation with Indian veteran Cheteshwar Pujara, Sudharsan was asked about his music preferences during team travel. He mentioned that while he initially listened to Tamil songs, he has since shifted to Hindi music and has started enjoying it.
"I used to listen to a lot of Tamil songs but everybody has to listen to the songs so I try to keep it in Hindi. During that journey, I started liking Hindi songs as well. I try to sing Hindi songs as well. Just having fun," said Sudharsan on Sony Sports Network.

Sudharsan has an organised game in Manchester: Manjrekar
Notably, the left-hander has previously played at The Oval during his County Championship stints, representing Surrey for the first time in the 2023 season. He featured in two matches that year, scoring 116 runs, including a half-century. He returned in the 2024 season for three more matches, amassing 165 runs from five innings, which included a century. He mentioned that he felt at home at the venue and added that the experience of playing there had positively impacted his game while representing India as well.
"It feels great to be back. By far one of the best grounds I have played in England is The Oval. Definitely feels home. When you walk in, you've already played here. I have that feeling and energy with the ground. So I feel that helps," Sudharsan added.
The left-handed batter played a crucial knock in the first innings at The Oval, scoring 38 off 108 balls, but was unable to convert his start as India were bowled out for 224. Since making his debut in the opening Test at Leeds, he has featured in five innings, amassing 129 runs, including one half-century. After being dropped following the first Test of the Anderson–Tendulkar Trophy, Sudharsan earned a recall for the Manchester Test, where he scored 61 off 151 deliveries.
