The biggest cricket carnival of India in the form of the Indian Premier League ( IPL 2024) is rapidly approaching its end. With the group stage of the tournament concluded, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are the four teams present in the playoffs of the tournament.
KKR and SRH will be competing in Qualifier 1 of the tournament for a place in the final, whereas RCB and RR will take on each other in the Eliminator to keep their hopes alive. It is worth noting that the excitement for the playoffs is quite low in Ahmedabad. The home side Gujarat Titans (GT), have bowed out of the tournament from the group stages, and the big guns, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI), do not feature as well.
