Gujarat Titans continue their ongoing IPL (Indian Premier League) 2024 campaign by taking on Delhi Capitals at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad in the 32nd game of the tournament on Wednesday, April 17.

The Titans will be in action after enjoying a long break as the side played their last game a week ago, when they took on Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on April 10. Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra highlighted the break enjoyed by the Titans and how both sides will be heading into the clash after registering away wins in their previous games.

"Gujarat vs Delhi - it's a good game. It seems like Gujarat won their previous game last year because it's been such a long break. Karamati (Rashid) Khan swung his bat and they won the game. They defeated Rajasthan at their home. Delhi are also saying that they are no less than anyone, they have also come after defeating Lucknow at their home," Chopra said in a video on his YouTube channel.

Gujarat's focus will once again be on their captain: Chopra

Furthermore, Chopra talked about how Gujarat Titans will be keeping their focus on skipper Shubman Gill, as he is the only one who is performing for the side in the ongoing season of the IPL.

"Gujarat's focus will once again be on their captain because apart from him, no one is doing such a good job that we talk about him glowingly. I want to talk about Sai Sudharsan. He scores runs but his strike rate hovers between 125 and 130. It never goes above that," Chopra said. "After that, no one else has very good form. So once again captain Shubman Gill with the bat and the Ahmedabad pitch, you know what happens.”
