Shehan Fernando’s 26 off 13 balls stabilized the innings after the team lost early wickets. He was well supported by contributions from skipper Taha Badar (14 off 10) and Amshi de Silva (13 off 9), as the Waves recovered from 31/3 to cross the 80-run mark.
For Chicago CC, Wahab Riaz and Gajanand Singh picked up key wickets and kept the opposition under pressure. Despite this, the Waves’ lower order ensured they had a total to fight with, finishing with 84 on the board.
