After the departure of the openers, MI skipper Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma ensured there were no late hiccups. The pair calmly guided the team to victory, completing the chase with six wickets in hand. For KKR, Vaibhav Arora, Kartik Tyagi, and Sunil Narine picked up a wicket each but failed to stop MI’s batting onslaught.
