The three-time champions have a history of success and splendor in their existence throughout the history of the IPL. A team built on utility and finding the right combinations, they are just behind the Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings as the second most successful team in the IPL.
In their spell throughout multiple renditions of the tournament, they have been dominant and set multiple records which are daunting and look unbreakable in their context.
Three Kolkata Knight Riders records that might not be broken
Longest win-streak (10 matches, 2014-15)
The Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014 were one of the most dominant teams the IPL has seen. And it is exemplified by their winning streak of 10 consecutive games, which extended into the 2015 season. This included the thrilling 2014 finals triumph against the Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings).
The Knight Riders went on a nine-game unbeaten streak in the 2014 season, on their way to the title, before winning the opening game of the 2015 season, making it ten consecutive victories, a daunting record that no one is yet to conquer.
