1. Highest Partnership in IPL History
RCB fans were in for a treat in 2016 when Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers launched a brutal assault on the Gujarat Lions (now discontinued). Coming in the fourth over after the cheap dismissal of Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, along with Virat Kohli, put on 229 runs for the second wicket, with both players scoring centuries.
Kohli finished with 109, off just 55 balls, his third century of the season. De Villiers finished unbeaten on 129 off just 55 balls. This was the first occasion in the IPL when two batters from the same team have scored centuries, and has only been replicated once other than this time.
