Royal Challengers Bengaluru's IPL Records and Stats against Kolkata Knight Riders

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will be up against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for their eighth match of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024). The tournament has just reached the halfway point, but it's already a do-or-die game for the 2016 runners-up. Having lost six out of seven matches, RCB are currently at the bottom of the points table and need some miraculous turnaround to enter the playoffs.

Yuzvendra Chahal, former RCB spinner and leading wicket-taker in league history, has taken more wickets against KKR. The right-arm leg-spinner has hunted down 19 wickets in 14 matches in the RCB vs KKR rivalry. Former RCB pacer Vinay Kumar is second on the list with 13 wickets from seven matches, followed by Mohammed Siraj with 11 wickets from 12 matches.

RCB posted their highest score against KKR in the 35th match of the 2019 season in Kolkata. Virat Kohli’s only century against KKR came in this match and that propelled RCB to 213/4 in the first innings. Batting in reply, Nitish Rana and Andre Russell put up a show at the Eden Gardens but fell short of 10 runs.

RCB etched their name in the 'Hall of Shame' with a 49 all-out against KKR in Match 27 of IPL 2017. Against the norm, RCB bowlers bowled out KKR for just 131 runs at the Eden Gardens.
