Rinku Singh has been one of India's most destructive batters in the lower order in white-ball cricket. Punjab Kings (PBKS) roped him in ahead of the 2017 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, he made his IPL debut the following year for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

Rinku Singh has played 58 IPL matches, scoring 1099 runs at an average of 30.53 and a strike rate of 145.18. He has registered four fifties, including a highest score of 67* against Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2023 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
