Heavy rains have battered Mumbai in the past couple of days. The financial capital of the country has been battling with waterlogging in several areas, with winds reaching up to 107 km per hour. The normalcy has been disrupted across the city and State Minister Aaditya Thackeray has urged everyone to stay indoors amid these trying times.

Iqbal Abdullah also urged everyone to stay safe during the rains. Many cricketers also rued the Beirut explosions which shook the whole city and killed at least 113 people, injuring more than 4,000 individuals.

Meanwhile, in the groundbreaking ceremony, India Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid a 40kg silver brick in the ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ of the grand temple at Ayodhya.
