The cricketing trends on the social media revolved around a number of events. Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Parthiv Patel trained with the Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) jersey. England cricketer Sam Billings was delighted to play at the Wayanad Cricket Stadium. Mumbai cricketer Suryakumar Yadav congratulated New Zealand after they defeated India by 80 runs in the first T20I at the Westpac Stadium in Wellington.
Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir posted a picture along with Harbhajan Singh, Jatin Sapru and VVS Laxman in the studios prior to the T20 International. Black Caps’ batsman Colin Munro was satisfied after he completed 50 ODIs and as many T20Is in the same week. Cricketer turned commentator Ramiz Raja felt that Sarfaraz Ahmed is destined to lead Pakistan in the upcoming World Cup.
