The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. The opening Test between India and Australia got underway at the Adelaide Oval and the first day’s play turned out to be an exciting one. At stumps, India ended on 233 for the loss of six wickets. Ravichandran Ashwin and Wriddhimasn Saha are currently batting in the middle with a lot to do on the second day.

Skipper Virat Kohli scored a half-century but he fell prey to a run-out after a mix-up with Ajinkya Rahane, the vice-captain of the national team. Kohli scored 74 runs and was looking good for a ton before he got out against the run of play. Mohammad Amir retired from all forms of international cricket and Ramiz Raja was disappointed with his decision.

Mushfiqur Rahim posted a picture where he was seen playing with his son. Shoaib Akhtar, the former Pakistan pacer, uploaded a new profile picture. Mushfiqur’s Beximco Dhaka have been knocked out of the Bangabandhu T20 Cup.
