Team Bangladesh has been on a very confident ground in the recent times. They have successfully managed to enter the Champions Trophy 2017 with the winning momentum. The team managed to beat the New Zealand team in the final game of the recently concluded tri-series in Ireland. Earlier, in the same series, they had crushed the hosts Ireland by a whopping margin of 8 wickets.

Prior to their tour in Ireland, the team had successfully leveled the Tests, ODIs, and the T20Is series in Sri Lanka. Certainly, the effort was worth a mention considering the way the team had managed to upstage a team as strong as the Sri Lankan team. With their recent impressive showings, the team has managed to escalate to the sixth spot in the ICC ODI rankings.

This surely comes as a big boost for the Bangladesh team ahead of the Champions Trophy. The team will want to put some good show in the mega event. They recently revealed their new jersey for the tournament. The jersey is certainly not like the traditional Bangladeshi outfits that was dominated by the green color.

This particular jersey sees the color red dominate the major part of the jersey. It has the shades of green to go along with it though. There is no sign of any sponsors in the front side of the jersey for now but that might change in the days to come.

Warm-up fixtures

Coming into the tournament, Bangladesh will start their campaign when they take on the hosts England in the tournament opener on June 1. Prior to that, they will have two warm-up matches to play to get their straps right ahead of the big event. Their first warm-up fixture will be against Pakistan at Birmingham on May 27. Their second warm-up game will be against India on May 30.
